Salt Lake Tribune Review
Few rivalries compare to the endless battle between cats and dogs. “The Revenge of Kitty Galore” reveals that unbeknownst to humans, these species have been fighting a high-tech war beneath the city streets. And the carnage is about to go global when the villainous Kitty Galore steals the codes to a satellite, planning to broadcast a high-pitched sound that will drive all dogs criminally insane. Will man’s best friend become his greatest enemy or will the dogs and their unexpected allies be able to stop Galore?
“The Revenge of Kitty Galore” is harmless, while it’s also extremely boring. The film is dominated by dim-witted dialogue, action that sputters out, and scenes that go nowhere. I absolutely hated “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel” and was annoyed beyond belief with “Beverly Hills Chihuahua,” but at least those films could keep a 5-year-old child entertained.
